At the April meeting, there will be two concurrent sessions that focus on issues of interest to actuaries practicing in different areas of insurance.

Tom Stoiber, President of Stoiber & Associates and Chairman of the SOA credibility task force will speak to us.  The SOA and state insurance regulators are very interested in defining credibility theory application to health insurance.  This session will inform you of the latest thinking in this area.

James Reiskytl, Vice President of Tax and Financial Planning for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance will speak on Regulation XXX.  This new regulation has serious tax consequences which Mr. Reiskytl will thoroughly discuss.
